Catalog Setup

Build your product catalog with colors, sizes, mockup images, print areas, and personalization options.

Adding Products

Go to Admin → Products → Add Product. Give your product a name that your customers will recognize — typically the garment style name and the decoration (e.g., "Gildan 64000 Unisex Tee — Screen Print" or more customer-friendly: "Classic Spirit T-Shirt").

The product description should highlight the garment material, fit, and care instructions. This text appears on the product page below the image.

Variants: Colors and Sizes

Variants represent every orderable combination of color and size. The easiest way to set them up:

  1. Click Add Colors and select the available garment colors from the standard color picker. You can enter custom hex codes for non-standard colors.
  2. Click Add Sizes and select all available sizes.
  3. Click Bulk Generate Variants to create all color+size combinations automatically.
  4. Review the generated variants and mark any unavailable combinations as Out of Stock or delete them.

You can also add size-based upcharges — for example, adding $2.00 to 2XL and larger sizes to cover the blank upcharge from your supplier.

Mockup Images

Upload at least one mockup image per product. For the best customer experience:

  • Use SVG mockups for garments — this enables live color-switching in the customizer, so customers can see the shirt change color as they select variants.
  • Use PNG or JPG at 800x800px minimum for hats, bags, and accessories.
  • Use a white or light gray background for product images. The customizer will display the mockup on a white card background.
  • Upload multiple images to show front, back, and detail views. Customers can browse them in a gallery.

Tip

Free SVG mockup templates for popular blanks (Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Port & Company) are available on the Resources page.

Define one or more print areas for each product. Common print areas for T-shirts:

  • Front Center — Max 12"W x 14"H for adult shirts, 11"W x 13"H for youth
  • Back Center — Max 12"W x 14"H
  • Left Chest — Max 4"W x 4"H
  • Right Sleeve — Max 3.5"W x 13"H
  • Back Neck Label — Max 3"W x 2"H

For each print area set the decoration type (Screen Print, Embroidery, DTG, Heat Transfer), and whether it is included in the base price or is an add-on with its own price.

Personalization Fields

Personalization fields let customers add custom text — typically their name and number for sports uniforms. In the product form, go to Decoration → Personalization and add fields:

  • Player Name — Text field, max 15 characters, required
  • Jersey Number — Number field (0-99), required
  • Team Name — Text field, optional (for school on sleeve)

Each field can have an optional add-on price. For example: $3.00 for name, $2.00 for number.

Decoration Types

Screen Print — Best for flat areas with 1-4 spot colors. Ideal for high-quantity orders. Pricing is based on quantity breaks.

Embroidery — Best for logos and text on hats, polo shirts, and fleece. Pricing is based on stitch count. Adds a luxurious look and feel but is more expensive per unit than screen print for large designs.

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) — Best for full-color photographic designs on light garments. No setup fees. Unit price is consistent regardless of quantity.

Heat Transfer — Best for names and numbers in multiple colors. Common for individual player personalization.
